It must be so easy with fame and fortune to get swept away by the current…
* The current can be pressure to perform all the time
* Pressue to compromise on you values and beliefs
* Demands of your time that limit your time with God
* Calls from producers and marketing types to go more mainstream and move away from gospel/worship music

It’s good to have the Anchor. To keep you firm and stop you from drifting.

When the storm comes (temptation, tiredness, negative feedback), remember the Anchor.

As you look back at how far you’ve come since X Factor, remember to one who sings over you from heaven.
He says, ‘I got you girl…hold tight’

Excellent version. Beverley my name sake has put her stamp of melodies to it and you can feel the presence of God as she sings from her heart. Looking forward to the album release. I pray she will continue to do the Lord’s will.

Love the song. It is an amazing inspirational track, beautifully sung as ever by Beverley and spreading a positive message. There should be more music like this out there and deserves to be heard. Very much looking forward to hearing the rest of the album having already heard a couple of songs when she appeared on Beverley Knight’s gospel show on Radio 2.
